CHRIS CATCHPOLE
Chris brings extensive international experience gained from a 20-year career working on global brands in London, Europe and across Asia including China. He ran his own Agency in London before moving to Tribal DDB Amsterdam then Ogilvy Singapore. During his time as Executive Creative Director at Lowe and Phibious, Chris won Golds for Campaign Asia’s Vietnam Creative Agency of the Year in 2012, 2013 and 2015.
His award-winning work in Asia includes a film for Coke TET that won Gold at the Mumbrella Awards. This and his Close-up Valentine’s Day film for Unilever were the number 1 most shared films worldwide during the campaigns and had 7.5m and 3.5m views respectively, making them the most successful films ever for these brands. As ECD at Interone in Beijing and Shanghai, their digital campaign helped BMW rank number six in China’s top 10 brands during the 2016 Olympics. And his ‘Bruce Lee’ film for the BMW M4GTS had over 120million views, selling every one of the $700,000 cars instantly.
At his most recent Agency, BBDO, he worked with Ha Le, Visa’s Marketing Director, to produce two awesome campaigns for Vietnam – ‘ế’ and a Facebook Live takeover – over 20m views with 99% positive comments and tens of thousands of shares.His latest TVC for OPPO – ‘Plastic People’ – has had 8m+ views to date on YouTube.
